Hormone Balancing Recipe: Paleo Pancakes
Make this delicious, simple 4 ingredient paleo pancake recipe by our talented friend, holistic chef, @livhungry! These pancakes include protein (eggs), fat (almond flour) & fiber (banana) which makes it a hormone balancing recipe that’s also easy to whip up on the days you’re craving something a little more decadent... like during your luteal phase (premenstrual week) OR in the middle of a stressful week!

INGREDIENTS (makes 5 pancakes)
☀ 3 eggs (we recommend @vitalfarms pasture-raised)
☀ 1 1/2 cups almond flour
☀ 1 medium ripe banana
☀ 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
☀ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
☀ toppings of choice!
++Sneak in some greens on the side if you can! To make it easy, we love doing a scoop of @amazinggrass (chocolate is our favorite)!
STEPS TO MAKE PANCAKES:
>> Add ingredients to a blender (except toppings) & blend for 1-2 minutes
>> Once the batter has formed, heat a large non-stick pan over medium heat with a little coconut oil
>> Using a 1/4 measuring cup, scoop batter and pour into the center of the pan
>> Cook pancakes for 2-3 mins on the first side or until edges are firm and browned then flip and cook for another minute
>> Remove pancakes from the pan and repeat until the batter has been used
>> Add hormone balancing toppings like wild blueberries, pumpkin seeds, grain-free granola, nut butter, and/or some sugar-free @lakanto maple syrup!
>> Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days
